Ducts and Dressing

While the foundation work was being done outside, the heating and air conditioning system was being installed inside. All the old ducts were removed and new ducts were put in place starting in the crawl space under the house. The ducts were then placed on the 2nd floor and attic where the air handling units were also installed. The heating/air crew will return to install the system in the new part of the house once the framer has completed the addition. Hopefully, that will be easier.

And there’s more. While all this was going on, the house was getting power washed by the crew of Pete’s Painting and Remodeling. After 2 power washes, they’ll patch the holes where insulation was blown in, sand, prime and paint the exterior. That will be a dramatic change for the old girl.
